We’re on a mission!

Table to Table is a community-based food rescue program that collects fresh, nutritious, perishable food that would otherwise be wasted and delivers it free to organizations serving the hungry in the Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Passaic Counties of New Jersey.

Feeding our Hungry Neighbors

Table to Table rescues and delivers healthy, fresh, and perishable food to those who need it most.

Our Story

We operate a fleet of refrigerated vehicles for the daily pick-up and delivery of fresh, nutritious food.

What We Do

By diverting good food from landfills and donating it to hungry neighbors, we are helping the planet.

Who We Are

Introducing our Green Table of Support!

Become a Green Table Supporter by joining Table to Table’s monthly giving program, and you will join us in not only reducing food waste but also feeding our neighbors in need.

Every $1 donated rescues enough food for 10 healthy meals.

Help us reach our goal of 25,000,000 meals in 2024 by becoming one of our first 25 monthly donors this year!

Help feed our hungry neighbors through our Table to Table I-Rescue app

Table to Table’s I-Rescue is an app that allows volunteers to help rescue and deliver fresh food to our neighbors facing food insecurity. Because of its outstanding success in Bergen County, Table to Table’s I-Rescue has expanded into Essex, Hudson, Morris, and Passaic Counties.

What sets us apart

We provide fresh, healthy food, including produce, whole grains and lean protein, by working with local grocery stores and distributors to rescue food and deliver it within hours of being rescued!

Four Star

Table to Table received a 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator for the 13th Consecutive Year. We are ranked one of the most cost efficient not-for-profits in New Jersey.

Learn More

While some hunger relief agencies charge a fee, we take pride in providing all our food free of charge.

Working tirelessly to combat hunger in NJ

There are more than 1.1 million food insecure people living in New Jersey. Of those, more than 1/3 of them are children. As an organization, we believe that no one should go hungry in one of the wealthiest countries in the world, especially in our backyard. These startling statistics are the driving force behind our unwavering determination to minimize—if not eliminate—hunger in our community.

We asked the question:

How does the food that Table to Table provides, help you?

This food helps a lot because I am not able to work right now because I am pregnant and it is a high-risk pregnancy.

It helps a lot because food is very expensive. I love fresh vegetables and fruit. It’s important to eat fresh produce. If I didn’t come here, I wouldn’t be able to afford it.

We just arrived from Ecuador two weeks ago. I don’t have a job yet and we are not eligible for food stamps. This food helps us a lot.

Kids: 3, 7

I can feed my family. My husband was working at a gas station, and he was shot while at work in 2020. Since then, he’s been in a nursing home. He cannot speak. He cannot walk. (He is bedridden).
