Bridging the Gap Between Food Waste & Hunger

Every year 3 billion pounds of food go to waste in New Jersey–while, nearly 1.1 million residents struggle to get food on the table. Table to Table, NJ’s first and largest food rescue nonprofit, addresses both challenges with one efficient solution by rescuing surplus, nutritious food that would otherwise be wasted and delivering it free to our neighbors in need throughout Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris, and Passaic counties.

It helps a lot because food is very expensive. I love fresh vegetables and fruit. It’s important to eat fresh produce. If I didn’t come here, I wouldn’t be able to afford it.
