Table to Table’s Virtual Walk

Walk with Team Park Ridge Rotary Club to get fit, win prizes, and help those in need. The team is serving Park Ridge, Woodcliff Lake, and Montvale in Table to Table’s Virtual Walk until April 30th. The event’s goal is to help feed neighbors in need, one step at a time. You can walk, run, bike, or hike any distance, anywhere, and recruit your friends, family, co-workers, and even your dog.
Table to Table, New Jersey’s first food rescue organization, aims to raise enough money to provide one million meals for Northern New Jersey neighbors in need. According to the event invitation, one in nine New Jersey residents, and nearly one in five New Jersey children, are food-insecure.
Maria Sinopoli of Table to Table says that Terry Ciulla and members of the Park Ridge Rotary Club have been supportive of the effort, and the two organizations have formed a partnership to help those experiencing food insecurity. Rotary Club volunteers, along with their families, use Table to Table’s I-Rescue app to rescue fresh, wholesome food and deliver it to those in need.
To participate, use the hashtag #TabletoTableWalk to share your walk photos and tell them why you walk. Participants using this hashtag will be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift card. You can also enter other Virtual Walk contests, including Top Fundraisers, Best Walking Partner, Best Group Theme, and Most Scenic Walk.
