Our food donor partners are critical in the effort to reduce food waste and end hunger in our community. We work with both large and small distributors included, but not limited to, small stores, restaurant chains, caterers, farmers markets, etc. Donated food is the ’meat & potatoes’ of Table to Table’s program. Your donation of fresh and perishable food will ensure that more of our hungry neighbors have a good meal before going to bed each night.
We aim to rescue food quickly, and make sure those in need receive it fast.
We work with donors directly to tailor a solution that works best for them. We provide dispatch and support for all rescues to streamline the process.
Volunteers, staff and sites are trained in food safety. Transit time is monitored, and food donated in good faith is protected by the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Act.
