When Reality TV’s Favorite Housewives Dish at bergenPAC on October 17, Table to Table – and its 60+ Recipient Agencies – Will be Served

August 2009 – To support the work of Table to Table, Northern New Jersey’s only dedicated food rescue program, bergenPAC has generously donated a limited number of premium tickets to “An Evening of Dishing and Debates with the Housewives of NY and NJ” on Saturday, October 17. These premium tickets ($150) include superior orchestra seats and an intimate Champagne reception with the housewives. The “Dishing & Debates” evening will feature no-holds-barred discussion between New Jersey’s Caroline Manzo and Teresa Giudice, and New York’s Jill Zarin and Alex McCord. A “question and answer” session with the audience follows. Table to Table collects fresh produce and meats, dairy products and other perishables that would otherwise be discarded, and safely delivers them, free of charge, to soup kitchens, homeless shelters and other social service agencies in Bergen, Passaic, Essex and Hudson counties. This year Table to Table expects to deliver 6 million meals.

Table to Table receives no government funding and, instead, relies solely on support from private and corporate donations. Numerous northern New Jersey individuals, businesses and organizations contribute to Table to Table’s success. Table to Table is the only dedicated food rescue program in northeast New Jersey, serving over 60 hunger relief agencies throughout the four counties.
