Throughout Month of June, Table to Table and Panera Bread Team Up to Fight Hunger in Northern New Jersey

June 14, 2010 – In support of Table to Table’s mission to fight hunger and poverty in New Jersey by collecting fresh perishable food and delivering it to those in need, participating Panera Bread locations in Paramus, Edgewater, East Rutherford, Northvale, Woodcliff Lake and Fair Lawn are collecting donations at their registers that will go directly to Table to Table. Customers can simply add a dollar, or two, to their receipt and those contributions will directly fund the work of Table to Table.

Panera Bread owner Jim Nawn stated, “New Jersey has been our home for more than a decade. We value our partnership with the local food banks that provide such important support for so many families. Thanks to our great customers, we are able to support the vitality of our local communities as well in their time of need.”

Table to Table is the only dedicated food rescue program in northeast New Jersey, serving over 60 hunger relief agencies throughout Bergen, Passaic, Essex and Hudson counties. Table to Table receives no government funding and, instead, relies solely on support from private and corporate donations.
