Turning Surplus Into Sustenance Across Northern New Jersey

Every day, Table to Table rescues surplus food from hundreds of retailers, distributors, cafeterias, farms, and other food businesses – and delivers it directly to communities in need. This map provides a visual representation of our growing network of food donors and community agency partners throughout our five-county footprint.

Our fleet of six refrigerated trucks and dedicated drivers handle larger rescues, while volunteers use our I-Rescue App to pick up and deliver smaller local rescues. The map includes separate layers for our truck partners and App partners – highlighting how the App and our volunteers have expanded our impact and helped us reach more underserved communities.

The service map also indicates areas where poverty levels are higher than 9%, the average level in New Jersey, and areas where 15% or more of households fit the United Way of Northern NJ’s definition of ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed). This data helps to guide our outreach and growth strategies as we strive to ensure that no good food is wasted, and no neighbor goes without.
