How We Do It With three refrigerated vehicles and dedicated drivers, Table to Table picks up food that is unable to be sold, but still of good quality from a wide range of food establishments each day. Features & Happenings... Bergen County Camera Contest Almost 100 aspiring and accomplished photographers submitted entries into Bergen County Camera’s Thanksgiving Photo Contest. “We have never seen such a quantity or quality of submissions”, said Tom Gramegna, President, BCC. The winning image will be used on BCC’s holiday card which will be sent to over 30,000 friends and customers in NJ. All entry fees for the competition were donated to Table to Table. The winning photograph, “Relax”,  was taken by Don Parenta from Hillsdale.  See all winning photos Bag a Lunch...Thanks a Bunch! Brown bags (the paper lunch variety), were all the rage this October as nearly 100 area businesses and schools raised more than $60,000 for our annual Bag a Lunch, Help a Bunch initiative. Participants, like those from HoHoKus Public School (our highest earners) had fun getting into the spirit of the day! Lunch Launches Campaign This year the kickoff to our Bag a Lunch Campaign was celebrated in grand style with a Ladies Lunch at the home of Nancy Berkowitz in Alpine, NJ. Guests were treated to a dazzling display of fall handbags in conjunction with the opening of the Chanel Shop at Neiman Marcus, Paramus. In addition, they sipped Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne, donated by Moet Hennessy and dined on Mediterranean specialties prepared by Chef George Georgiades, from Varka Estiatorio in Ramsey. Perfect setting, delicious food and wine, fabulous bags, great campaign. A splendid afternoon. Photos from the afternoon...
