With four refrigerated vehicles and dedicated drivers, Table to Table picks up food that is unable to be sold, but still of good quality, from a wide range of food establishments each day. This food is delivered on the day it is donated, avoiding the need for warehouse facilities and keeping Table To Table's costs limited to the operation of the vehicles. Read more...

We Made It!

With just hours to spare, Table to Table accomplished its goal to deliver enough food for six million meals in 2009! Food for the milestone meal was picked up and delivered on December 30, thanks to continued generous donations from Inserra ShopRite and Whole Foods Market, plus extraordinary extra donations from A&P and Nebraska Meats and special donations from companies like Champignon North America who sought to help during this critical time.

"Liquidnet For Good" Awards Table to Table $12.5K Grant

Liquidnet, a global institutional marketplace, awarded Table to Table $12,500 in its "Local Impact Challenge," a social media-based grant challenge that called on Liquidnet employees to nominate their favorite local non-profits.  Table to Table was nominated by CFO Bill Maw, one of our long time supporters and friends.  Following two months of open-to-the-public online voting, Table to Table placed in the top 10, thanks to the enthusiastic participation of hundreds of on-line voters. Said Seth Merrin, Founder and CEO of Liquidnet, "Liquidnet For Good is committed to strengthening communities around the world and those closer to home."

J’adore Café Panache

Ask anyone who’s ever enjoyed Chef Kevin Kohler’s popular Valentine’s Day-themed dinners at Café Panache and you’ll know – a better evening would be hard to find. And this year is no exception. Kohler will once again pull out all the stops to host two special evenings benefiting Table to Table. It's a Wrap!

We wrapped up the holiday gift-giving season the way we do best - gift-wrapping at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack. Once again, 100% of the proceeds benefitted Table to Table. Thanks to our all-volunteer staff of experienced gift wrappers, we wrapped hundreds of pretty packages and earned enough money to deliver nearly 90,000 meals in the new year! Holiday Food Drive

Twas the season for giving and St. Catherine of Bologna School in Ringwood really got into the spirit! For an hour before the children's Christmas concert on a cold night in December, families loaded 600 pounds of fresh, wholesome food onto a waiting Table to Table van. This was the first time St. Catherine's has worked with Table to Table and the amount of food they collected was just amazing and so desperately needed. "I love the immediate gratification, knowing the food is going to be eaten right away and not just sitting in a warehouse somewhere!" said Nicole Gilbert, Kindergarten class mom and organizer of food drive.
